A Consolidated Amusement Co.
Annual Company Award Highlight Events. Pacific and Consolidated employees were treated to special gatherings a few months back. Consolidated Amusement's was held at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hotel in O'ahu, while the Pacific Luncheon was held Dec. 18 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The highlight of each event was the announcement of 1997 company awards. The "Core Values Award" is our company's most prestigious honor and is granted annually to one employee from California and one from Hawaii who best exemplify Pacific's and Consolidated's core values. Each award recipient is honored with a cash prize of $2,500 as well as a beautiful glass trophy, and their names will appear on plaques located in the Pacific and Consolidated home office lobbies. This year's deserving winners included local awardees Diane Easley, (pictured on top, right with Christoper Forman) manager of Consolidated's Hualalai Tri-Plex Theatres. She also received rave reviews from her peers. Diane was singled out for encouraging her theatre talent to develop and grow: "She gives them an opportunity to handle complaint by trying to solve the problem by themselves instead of always calling the manager." Diane also created an operations manual to help other managers covering situations that may arise on a day-to-day basis. Other local winners include Ty Motobu of Prince Kuhio receiving $2,000 as Hawaii Manager of the Year Award, and Vernessa Lum of Kahala Mall who suggested that theatre impressed funds be replaced by credit cards for petty cash purchases. Congratulations to all the winners! Keep up the good work! WHAT'S NEW | DISCLAIMER | HOME OFFICE | SHOWTIMES PROMOTIONS | REVIEWS | STUDIOS | LINKS HUALALAI '3 © 1997-98 reboot. All Rights Reserved. |
