This is fantastic and your daughter is beautiful. I have a 2 year old granddaugher, Kelsey, who is the light of our lives and LOVES her "George" Whenever we take her anywhere with us, she starts up "George" and isn't content until she hears that wonderful voice on the CD!!!! She also recognizes his picture on CD covers, magazines and even the lotion bottle!!! There is NO Fooling her - we have tried!! We've tried various other cds, (Tracy Byrd, Alan Jackson etc. etc..) she just says NO WANT GEORGE!!! Isn't it great that we are raising up 3rd generation fans!! My hubby, Jerry, too puts up with 'my addiction" and buys me CDs...my latest is STRAIT OUT OF THE BOX...a wonderful collection.

What a Great site, it is amazing to me to see all of the different sites and people from all over the country who are such dedicated Strait fans...... Having been a fairly new fan, I've listened to Country for many years and really started listening to George when we were living in Texas in 1985 and 1986, but have just recently joined the fan club and since I don't have a computer at home I am only able to get online at work. I joined the fan club last year and was really looking forward to his usual visit in Oct., which I have yet to get any tickets to see him, and when he was unable to come last year I felt awful, but it was hard to be too upset when he was trying to spend more time with his family. I have found Troy Sniff's site and have gotten linked up with some news from some different sites. I have just learned that he is coming to Utah this May 23rd and am waitning anxiously to hear when tickets go on sale. It sounds like it will be like the festivals that he has done in Texas. I was about to try to get to TX or to AZ to see him if he wasn't coming to Utah this year. It sure was nice to see him win again last night. It is nice to know that there are enough people who really appreciate the true honesty of his easy country style. There are allot of pretty flashy artists in country music today and George is such a breath of fresh air in the true country tradition, and his commitment to family values. He is a wonderful example and role model for young and old alike.
