Children's Authors and Illustrators

The following are websites for some children's authors and illustrators that I enjoy. I have arranged the listing of their homepages alphabetically to avoid playing "favorites" since I believe they are all great authors for children! If I have a favorite book that they wrote, I am including that on this list:

Molly Bang . This site is great for learning how her stories came to be and for ideas on activities children that enhance her books. Favorite Book: I love using Yellow Ball in my 2 1/2 year old storytimes!

Judy Blume . Favorite Book: Blubber

Crosby Bonsall . This author has been writing since the 50's and her beginning reader books are still popular today!
