THE MANDRELL SISTERS are best known for their 1980-82 hit television variety series, "Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters". Forty million viewers tuned in every Saturday night to watch these multi-talented women. It wasn't only the dancing, singing and playing of instruments that drew in viewers, it was the "clean-cut" way of life these sisters promoted that made America love them. Honesty, Integrity & Family Values are the keystone of the Mandrells' success.
Although the show was very successful while it aired, intolerable physical stress forced an untimely decision to be made and the show was cancelled.
Success continues to follow the Sisters in the present and more than likely in the future. Barbara Mandrell is of course the more familiar of the sisters, but Louise and Irlene are talented entertainers in their own right. These pages are here to pay respect to three wonderful women who create smiles where ever they go.
