Gary Stone - Biography
Gary's songs have been published by Polygram International, Harris-Richardson Music Group in Nashville, and motion picture production company, Polymuse Inc His writing credits include platinum United Artists recording artist Gerry Rafferty and Chrysalis recording artist Elisa Fiorillo.
In addition to his talents as a lyricist and producer, Gary has been a
leading investment banker and corporate development specialist in the TV,
motion picture and music industries. From 1990-1996, Gary was Executive
Vice President/Corporate Development of Lancit Media Entertainment, a
leading children's production company partially owned by media giant
Discovery Communications. During Gary's six year tenure, Lancit's market
capitalization grew from $2 million to over $70 million. Prior to his
recent move to Nashville , Gary was also a member of the Board of
Directors of Overseas Film Group, one of the five leading worldwide
distributors of non-theatrical motion pictures, and of Strategy Licensing
Company, a 1996 LIMA nominee for Licensing Agency of the Year.
