Saturday, September 26, 1998. The Place: Marine Midland Arena, Buffalo, NY. The Event: The Greatest Show On Earth. Garth Brooks in Concert. Opened by CMA Female Vocalist Of The Year Trisha Yearwood. I've had the good fortune to see Garth in concert twice. The first time was September 96 at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton Ontario. I have to admit that I had a better time at the Hamilton show, mainly because it was my first, and the concert lasted about 20 minutes longer than this show in Buffalo. But, that said, there is no such thing as a bad Garth Brooks concert. And, also, the MMA is a much nicer arena to see a concert in. The pictures here are from the Buffalo cocnert only, as my Hamilton pics didn't turn out well enough to be put online. I hope you enjoy these pictures from an awesome night of entertainment.

Garth Brooks next CD is called "Garth Brooks... In The Life Of Chris Gaines", and will be released at the end of September. This CD is a pre-curser to a movie called "The Lamb" which will star Garth as a rock and roll singer trying to deal with the hardships of being a famous singer. This is a departure for Garth, in that this is not a country CD. The first single is called "Lost In You", and is being played on Adult Contemporary stations around Canada and the US. If you'd like to hear this new single, you can download it in MP3 form Here.
Greats seats, huh? I had to get Air Traffic Control clearance to stand up here. Hey, it beats sitting way down there on that floor with all them screaming people, LOL. And remember this is the arena that the scoreboard fell from the ceiling last year.
Unfortunately, this is the only clear shot of Trisha I got. She put on a great show.
Garth making his entrance. I wonder if he ever gets his hat caught on the hole as he comes up.
The Man emerges.
One for you ladies out there. P.S. My butt's cuter. Honest.
Garth treating us in the back to a little Callin Baton Rouge.
Some more Callin Baton Rouge.
The band applauding us for our patricipation.
Garth figures he needs a better view of the big guy in the top row with the camera. "Over to your left, Garth!"
OK, so I'm not the greatest photographer, but you try to keep up with Garth running around. This pic just shows he is certifiable.
"Ain't Goin Down" he says. Sure. You'd think he just finished a long hard show or something. Sheesh.
Being a truck driver, I had to get a pic beside one of Garth's fleet.
