The MTP software (under the apple menu) in conjunction with the

actual MIDI Time Piece (in the rackspace) controls the flow of all

MIDI activity at your MIDI station. For sequencing in Performer

where multiple sound modules and MIDI channels are playing back

simultaneously, computer setup must be enabled as seen below.

For auditioning sounds on a single device, without the Performer

software, choose the direct patch as shown below. In this example

the W5 is triggering sounds from the Kurzweil. The MIDI

channel selected on the face of the W5 (the red led) will determine

which of the Kurzweil's MIDI channels will be heard.

The switches on the face of your MIDI Time Piece rack unit should

be set to 1MHZ, and cables 1-8.
