Emily Erwin Robison was born in 1972 and is the sister of Martie Seidel . She began playing violin when she turned seven. She then began playing the banjo, the dobro, the mandolin, and then other insturments. In 1984 she and Martie began playing in the Bluelight Express. In 1989 she and Martie made their debut appearence at Poor David's Pub.
She was married on May 1, 1999 to country singer Charlie Robison!
