Tranquilty of heart and mind!! Memories of days gone past, Tho, my childhood days were a blast,Over the years things have changed, And I find my life has been rearranged.. I wouldn't of changed it for the world Even when they told me, my firstborn was a girl! For each and every one of my children Have left me at times in such bewilderment.. Tho each is different in their own way, There is only one thing a mother can say, You are all a very special part of me, My love for you all grows endlessly.. Oh, for how I love the country, Out where the air is fresh and clean, Out where the fields touch the blue skies, Out where the scenes are serene! Is where I spend my time, With the love of my life, My Family!! |
Would like to introduce you to my Dream Angel.
She is here to remind you to follow your dreams no matter what the task large or small, for the rewards are outstanding! Believe in them with all your heart, and your dreams will become a reality.Hey!!! Thanks for coming in... Time to introduce myself and my family! Ya been waiting huh?? :)
I am a 4
5 year old mother of 3 children, and my husband, Ron and I of 26 years together, reside in Illinois. Over the years of trying times, there has been alot of memories and good times as well! And am sure there will be many more..
For our oldest daughter now of 24 stumbled out the door to be on her own in 1997, boy do we know what that was like? *lol* Tonya with being my first born always captures the hearts of everyone she crosses paths with, if you could ever have the opportunity to meet her, the girl would have ya in tears with laughter, she tried and tested me over the years, but was never afraid to come and talk when something was on her mind. And as a young adult out to conquer the world they go through some changes, as of yet so far so good.. just hoping she will look back on the family life she was raised in before she makes the wrong decision, with being her mother, can only hope and pray that God will watch over and guide her in the right direction.
On October 30, 1999, Tonya and our new son-in-law Todd were
married! Not only
did I lose a daughter I gained another son into our family. We
welcome him
with open arms, though he thinks I am the witch mother in law of all time!
*lol*
My bark is always worse than my bite Todd, just ask Tonya!! hehehe
I'm very happy for the both of them, and may they spend as many lovely
years
together as Ron and I have.
On July 29, 2002, our first grandbaby arrived! Whew,
Tonya put new meaning to the word Grandmother!
I think the gray hairs grew by thousands when I first got the
news, for after 4 1/2 days of
labor and fighting. It was the most stressful
day of my life, but the most beautiful ever! To hold the lil angel
in my arms, knowing that both Tonya was going to be ok, and our new grandson was
gorgeous and healthy. Was the day the world stood still!
For there were times I found myself praying heavy for the lord to help her
through this, and toward the end of her 4 1/2 days, there were some moments, I
honestly didn't believe either was going to make it. Complications
set in, the air was heavy to breath, and just seeing her lying there wore out
completely, was enough to make a grown man cry tremendous tears
instantly. But our prayers were answered once again, when we
were blessed with lil Alexander. He's the sunshine of our
hearts!
As for my second daughter who is now 21, Tammy finished high
school in 2000,
and has marched and traveled with the local high school band for 4 years, what can I say!
To all that know her on the net *lil dazzle*, and in real life, know she is a tom boy
through and through, hmmmm, seems I heard that alot when I was growing up, and still do!
*lol* Her greatest loves are poetry, animals, and hopefully her family!
*giggle* But I guess you can call her mom's sidekick, for with *sis*
moving out, bought us closer together more... Which you'd never hear me complaining, for
alot of kids don't have that kind of relationship with their parents. But Tammy has always
set her own goals, and set out to accomplish them in her own way! :) Now that she
has finished high school. her dreams are to head off to college and major in accounting!
And as a mother and a friend, will be right there for her backing her the whole
way..
As I am updating these pages, being its December 2002, Tammy
was married to Tom on November 8th. Still our family continues to
grow, and yes we welcome Tom into our hearts and home. They make
such a beautiful couple, and our hearts explode with joy for them
both! Let's just hope they don't decide to try the
grandparent stages too soon, I don't think my lil ol heart can take it
yet. But still the sparkle in theirs eyes tell me
they will have many years of love between them.
Whew! Two down and only one left to go, as for our baby.. hmmmm .. Yes.. Our 11 year old son Travis, I did
say baby didn't I?? *lol* Is of course daddy's little boy, and he thinks the sun rises in
set's in dad and his older sister's, but has really tested our inner strengths, but
everyone tells me.. "Hey, that's a boy for ya!" With starting fifth grade
and learning what the world is all about, I am sure he will have his bumps and bruises
along the way. Should be really interesting these days, bringing a boy up after the two
girls.. But will be there for him the same way, as I have been for his sisters.
If he ever figures out he's not yet
20 years old and only an 11 year old~ *LOL* But it helps a lot gaining
two son's into our home, he don't feel like the lone ranger anymore! :)
And of course, as by now.. You probably have guessed.. Yes.. we do live
in the country, out where no one is around.. Peace and quiet where a lot of the times..
gave us the opportunity to focus on each other as a family instead of what the neighbors
were doing.. Which kept us close over the years.
To sit out in the backyard and watch the deer grazing over the pastures, or racoons playing in the trees, and the sun setting in the West, gives you that special feeling that keeps you looking forward to the next day!!
My greatest loves are my family, friends, music and poetry. Everyone of them has a meaning in my life that is treasured so deeply. For those who know me, know I love to make folks smile and laugh, forget about their troubles and see that life does hold a brighter future. And for those whom I haven't crossed paths with, I hope to someday ..
Hey.. I wouldn't of ventured into building a homepage without all the support and encouragement of my friends here.. Thank you to all of you for being there when the time was most important and just for putting up with me.. *S* For at times, you all are probably thinking it was a full time job.. *lol* For you all believed in me, when there was times, I couldn't believe in myself. Love ya guys! *hugz*
