  Sonny Rogers and the Kingpins are going to play at the next Viva Las Vegas weekender in March 2002. They are soon going to do some new recordings at Enviken Records, and maybe they will have a new CD out for the Las Vegas gig.  Do you wana know more about the Viva Las Vegas weekender?  Sonny Rogers and the Kingpins had a song on the Swedish TV programme "Det nya Landet". The song is "High geared mama" and it's written by Sonny himself. http://www.detnyalandet.com/  |

 The King pins are working hard and did a European tour at the end of april 99', with gigs in Amsterdam, Paris and some gigs in Germany. After that they cut an album for "ENVIKEN records" that was realesed in august 99'.It`s a 14 track cd with 6 originals and some obskure rockabilly and country boppers.It`s allso available on 10" vinyl. The original drummer,Karl Ljungberg, has left the band to join a UN mission in Bosnia. The new drummer is Matti Eriksson who used to play with the Swedish rockabilly band Swingin Doors. Fredrik left the band at the end of 99, to move to his girlfriend in Germany. New guitarist is Jonas"Fast Fingers"Olpers also known from the Sleasy Rustik Boys.
