It has been said that Shania has finished recording 3 new tracks for her upcoming studio album. It has also been said that there are 6 more tracks that are currently in the "recording" stages.

Shania's Class Reunion

Shania recently returned to her hometown of Timmins, Ontario for a suprise appearance at her class reunion. This 1983 graduate attended the reunion without any bodyguards or security. It is reported that Shania socialized with many of her old friends and teachers. A lot of people were thrilled and suprised about this superstar's appearance at this event. There were many rumors going around about Shania being in town around the date of the reunion. Shania has also started a student scholarship for students in her old high school back in May. It's good to know a star who hasn't forgotten her roots or hometown!

The CCMA Awards Nominations

The 2000 nominations were announced and Shania grabbed a total of 6 of them! These nominations are: Chevy Fans Choice Award, Single of the Year(Rock This Country), Song of the Year(Rock This Country), Video of the Year(Rock This Country), Top Selling Album(Come On Over International), and Female Artist of the Year.

Shania's "Come On Over" album has now sold over 32 million copies worldwide.. making her the best selling female artist of all generes of music! This info was given by Universal Music Group.

Shania's New Country Single

Shania's newest country single is "I'm Holdin' On To Love(To Save My Life). This single was just released to country radio. There is no news yet if there will be a video for this single or not.
