It's that time of year once again! Time for our thoughts to turn to the meaning of Christmas........the true meaning of Christmas........
Christmas......a time for family to come together to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child.......A time for all of us to remember how much our family and friends mean to us.......A time to Rejoice......
I love this time of year for many different reasons! I love watching the excitement in my small children as they prepare for Santa's arrival on Christmas Eve.......they don't stay small forever, and these are times I will cherish always!
It won't be long now, and we will see Santa just about everywhere we turn......ready to take orders from all the good little boys and girls.............The Christmas Carols, the smell of the baking of pies, cookies, candies and such........What a wonderful time of year indeed! Soon, the snow will be falling..........the children will be out building their own magical snowman, having snow ball fights, and building their snow forts.........Christmas truly makes one feel young again.............young at heart, and young in spirit!
I love to give lots of handmade gifts at Christmas time..........to me, giving something that is made by myself lends that little bit of extra specialness to the gift.......and lets the person receiving the gift know how special you think they are!
Christmas.....definitely the time of year when it's ok to be a kid....and why have it any other way? : )
