The World Around Me
Lying on my bed, I look outside the window. I haven't seen the sun in days. This world keeps on changing, But I always seem to stay the same. The world keeps on turning, no matter what you do, And the fire keeps on burning, And the wind can't put it out Because the fire is in my heart. So I made a few mistakes. You'd think it wouldn't matter. But this world is cold and cruel, And it shut me out. The fire of hatred burns forever, Right inside of you, The world can't be denied. Do you know what I mean? As for the world it can just screw off, Because I'm sick and tired of it. In the end it isn't going to matter, Because we'll all be punished for our sins. And the world turns. Every word I say is true. I'm giving my knowledge, From my heart to you.
