Full Moon

...here you are owner of my heart
Just the way that love should be
And there is something I must say to you
If you promise to believe
That it's you I'm living for
And, I could not love you more...

The Bee Gees

Since I was a young man of eighteen, the Gibb brothers have been a part of me. Their music has always been close to my heart. Their lyrics have on numerous occasions portrayed the feeling that I tried to convey to the loves of my life. To this day I identify....

Love Songs

In every song that I've heard, Every word brings you to mind. All the loving and the hurting, All the laughter and the sighs. You're the Lady that wears Red. You're the one with the Brown Eyes. You're Sweet Gentle and Loving. You're The Angel in my life. You're Pretty Woman, You're Angel Eyes. You're Bobby's Girl and Lucy in the Sky. All the songs, all the lyrics, Were written with you in mind. You're the woman loved my man You were the target once, for Sam. You're the reason that Roy cried And the why Kris loved his bottle. You're the one that made George late And John sing out "Imagine". You're in Paul's tune called "Love Songs" You're the Cold Cold Heart of Hank. You're Sleepy Susie, you're sweet Sheila You are Donna, you're Torment. In every love song ever written You have played the title role. You are Mary, You are Sally You are Cindy, you're the Soul. You're a Teenager's Dream. You're his First Love. You are what a man thinks of, You are love....

Two Bikes

Two bikes, along the trail left unattended. Leaning side by side, on each other close together. There's no one around that can be seen, Just the two bikes, along side each other. The girl's and the boy's.

Maybe two lovers, maybe two friends, Not far away just out of reach, Are whispering to each other. As the cool breeze stirs the leaves... I hear the giggle in the silence. The butterfly and the bee pay no mind. Two bikes along the trail left unattended. Lean on each other side by side.

SUMMER

The sun hangs like a golden loonie
On the hot lazy July sky.
The wind has died and the birds
Hide among the leaves.

The radio plays the tunes
Unaware of the beating heart
That listens, while a cold bottle of beer
Sweats and leaves it's ring
On the picnic table.
The heat of the day just lingers Like a memory it will not go. A feeling of happiness prevails As a tune brings you to mind. A smile crosses my lips As my heart fills with joy.

A FRAME IN TIME

Within the frame of my time, She has come to me. Willingly, yet not free. Time stood still , for a while, And those stolen moment Were my eternity. A passing ship in the night, That I caught a glimpse of, Sent it's wake to the shores Of my time; To disturb it's placididty. I have no regrets, for love I did discover _ if only for a little while. Yes we made some memories Within the frame of my time, And those stolen moments we once shared Will forever be mine.

The wish

Wish you could have seen, What I saw tonight. Wish you could have heard, What I heard. Wish you could have Smelled the fragrance And felt the breeze On your face. How I wish I could have Shared with you What I felt. I saw the setting sun I heard the birds sing. I smelled the wild flower I talked to the wind. You were not there.
