Welcome to Symphony in Motion

This is a gallery of Java applets used more or less as an art form. Some of the pictures are from actual paintings, others adapted from photographs, and still others are a collage of bits and pieces of photos and computer painting. Unless otherwise noted, the pictures are all my original work. The programmers of the Java applets are acknowledged wherever possible, as well as the sites where I found the codes.
You may NOT use ANYTHING from this website in any way without permission and appropriate credit! And please do not steal bandwidth by linking applets back to your site!

MOONLIGHT SONATA
Moonlit lake applets with Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as background music.

THE SWAN
Applets using mostly scenic photos, set to the music of Saint-Saens "Le Cygne"

THE SUNKEN CATHEDRAL
These pictures employ a variety of other types of applets.
The music is Debussy's "The Sunken Cathedral".

DANCING SNOW
A small collection of snow applets. The background music is Debussy's
"The Snow is Dancing", from the Children's Corner.

IMAGES
Imagefader applets set to the music of Francis Poulenc.

FAIRY LAND
Now the fairies have their own room in the gallery, and a new castle too!
The music is "Sonatine" by Maurice Ravel.

AFRICA
Animals and scenic views from Web cams in the South African bush,
accompanied by music from Saint-Saens "Carnaval of the Animals".

FAMILY ARTWORK
A new wing has been added the gallery! No Java here.
