Born in Colombia in 1961. In 1990 Julian established the Toro-Duque illustrators Ltd. firm, were he directed an eclectic group of up and coming illustrators. They were offering services to publishing and advertising. The firm was intense in drawing, coloring, and commercial illustration techniques.

Julian loved working in Children's books. His illustrated book of 'Don Quixote' is a masterpiece. It's for collectors.

In 1995 Julian moved to the United States. While in the US he has worked for the Dallas Convention & Visitor Bureau, illustrating a poster for the world cup.
