Blood run's freely on the ground
Instead of water
Grave stones sprout up everywhere
Instead of grain
Money is used to buy death
Instead of life
Children's screams of hunger and pain are heard
Instead of happy laughter
Leader's want to and try to play God
Instead of bowing head's to pray
They want my Africa's blood
Instead of peace
Please do more giving
Instead of killing
Do more forgiving
Instead of fighting
Do more understanding
Instead of hating
Humility stops wars
Pride keeps the bullets flying
Pride........stop watering my Africa's soil with the
blood of her people
Pride........give my Africa back......
Her joy.....
Her beauty......
Her freedom....
And most of all her children
