A Hypertext Narrative

In the fall of 2002, I took a Modern British novel course. We read such books as Lord Jim, Howards End, Mrs. Dalloway, and, of course, Ulysses.

For our final assignment, we were given a choice: either write an eight page paper discussing the modernist techniques in each of the novels or write a ten page modernist narrative. Being a creative person, I decided to write the narrative. I am very happy with the way it turned out, do I decided to publish it here.

The Persephone myth is commonly known. But the long term results of the six month deal were left out of the story.

It is years later, and the lives of four women have drastically changed...
