Buzz NOTHING HERE
|
When we planned tying the knot, never in our craziest dreams did we imagine our wedding to get this much attention beyond our relatives & close friends. Our only intention was to make our wedding as close to as what we've imagined, paying close attention to even a tiny detail just to make it real special...and more so, just to please ourselves. Now indeed we're very pleased!
We knew that we as a couple weren't a great news item. But we tried to make this wedding page as interesting as possible to anybody who will chance upon it. As first, we 'advetised' it to our friends and they said they like it (of course they'll say that, that's why they're f-r-i-e-n-d-s! duh?!). We registered the site to search engines and linked with other sites who's willing to take us. So came the 'net-surfers here & abroad who visited and gave great feedbacks and compliments for our efforts. Then on, a guestbook entry became our regular source of pure joy!
One particular topic here that seem to draw some particular interest from our web visitors is the Love Story. We could only guess that the reason they came here is because they too are love-strucked or into romance. They seem to like our He-said-She-said account of what happened during our courtship stage. That same story was featured in a major daily a week before the wedding.
The 1026 Wedding Invite/Soundtrack proved to be another thing that fascinated other people. Almost a year in the making, we're very glad that a lot of people appreciated its contents and the efforts thrown into the project.
The BIG day also had it share of the "limelight". As fate would have it, while visiting our wedding cake maker (Pastry Bin), a TV producer called looking for weddings to be featured in the show. Penk suggested ours and the rest was history.
Below is a listing of all our friends who gave 1026 all these media attention. Mere words won't be enough to express our sincerest gratitude to all to those who, in one way or another, made a fuss out of the fuss we made for our wedding. Special thanks to all those who sent in greetings & warm wishes via e-mail or guestbook. You don't know us personally but still you took the time. It's such a touching gesture.
