I am currently diligently working on a philosopical thesis concering the concept of personhood. I am anylzying the metaphysical relationship of what it is to be a person and overlaying this analysis onto an ethical venue. Essentially, what does it take for a being to be attributed the moral status that we oftentimes assign to persons. Though the question seems at prima facie to be simple... there are some very intriguing issues that arise with delicate analysis. The Bonobo to the left is one such issue. |
