Beasley was born on 7th April 1998 and was one of eight. That's his dad, Jason, on the right. He came to live with us, Tim & Julie, when he was only 8 weeks old. That's me with Beasley, on the left, in the week after he arrived. He seemed so big when we picked him up, and he was - for a young puppy - but oh boy has he done some growing since then. At 8 weeks he was a mere 7kg, but by Christmas '98 he had topped 60kg (See Beasley & Cosi's weight gain). The photo on the right was Beasley at 12 weeks after a fight with a sprinkler.

He has a real fascination with any kind of water. If he hears running water, he'll come to check it out and get some if possible. He is now tall enough to drink from the bathroom sink. While you're washing your hands, he'll often push you out of the road so he can get to the beautiful, cold, fresh water.
