What's this site all about? If you love Voyager and have a thing for the Commander or for Robert Beltran, then this place is for you. My reviews focus on the character of Chakotay, but I do also have a few vaguely intelligent things to say about the show and the other characters. So there is plenty here for those of you who just don't get what it is with those dark eyes, dimpled smile and clear diction. Every episode is given a score out of ten depending on a completely subjective judgment of how good I thought it was (click here for the 'ten out of ten' episodes). Each episode also gets a Chakotay Quotient (CQ) — this tells you whether it's worth bothering with based on screen time and/or skin-exposure (among other things) of Starfleet's sexiest First Officer. The CQ goes from one to four stars (click on the pics below for a listing of episodes with each rating): |
|
He's just window dressing
He manages to get a few words in.
He smiles a lot, takes off his shirt, or chews some scenery
This episode will induce palpitations, rapid shallow
breathing, and/or a severe hormone imbalance.
(Four stars: special instances only) |

These reviews are a work in progress. So far, I have
reviewed about 70 episodes of Voyager (I know, a long way to go) and I'm
working on new ones all the time (as of February 2000). I'll start watching
Season 6 when they come down in price from $7 overnight to $1 weekly...
Stand by! I have viewed and then reviewed the episodes in a completely random order, so I suggest you do likewise when reading them, or
at least don't expect my comments to make chronological sense (it's more
fun that way, honest).
Warning! This is the one
and only spoiler warning on the site:
* S P O I L E R S * A H E A D ! * A final note: For those of you hungry for eye candy, there are not a lot of pics on this site — just a few carefully selected booster shots for added stimulation. Go to the links page to find out where you can drool, if that's what you want to do. Otherwise, grab your reading glasses because there are lots of words and reading is good for you. |
