Blink 182's Mark Hoppus Gets a Piece of The Rock



On the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, MTV News special correspondent Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 got some nutritional advice from wrestler/actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The Rock talked about his Hollywood nights and getting his hair cut in Lil' Kim's dressing room.

Hoppus: I'm here with someone who's definitely not a candy-ass, The Rock. What's going on tonight, man?

Rock: A whole bunch of stuff. It's great to be here. It's going to be a great night.

Hoppus: You look great, dude. Nice suit.

Rock: Thank you. I appreciate it. Nice T-shirt.

Hoppus: Thanks a lot. Now for a scrawny guy like me, what would you suggest to bulk up and be part of the game?

Rock: Be part of the game? You just have to eat right, work out. You know clean, healthy living with a little bit of naughty stuff on the side [and] you'll be cool.

Hoppus: What was it like working on "The Mummy Returns"? Rock: It was real cool. We were out in the desert [and] I got really, really sick. But it was great.

Hoppus: Now you have your own movie coming out pretty soon. Do you want to tell us about that?

Rock: Yeah. "The Scorpion King" is going to be fantastic. It's myself, Michael Clarke Duncan, Bernard Hill from "Titanic," Grant Heslov from "True Lies," [and] a great cast and crew..

Hoppus: Who are you most looking forward to seeing tonight?

Rock: Lil' Kim. She was nice enough to let me get my hair cut in her dressing room and obviously she's off the hook. She's looking fine tonight, so I'm good. I think I'm satiated, everything's cool.
