Scott Yaklofsky

Has always loved music and the effect it can have on people.  From this love, Scott was inspired to learn how to create music, choosing the guitar as his tool of self-expression.  Years later, he finds himself as a member of a unique band, pouring his heart and soul into the creation of original music. His role in Savory Mull includes vocals and rhythm and lead guitar. He writes many lyrics and is often responsible for implanting catchy riffs in the audience's ears. Scott lists musicians such as Jerry Garcia, Jimmy Page, Steve Howe and Robert Fripp as some of his guitar influences, although he says he tries to pick up new ideas from any player he sees, whether in a club, on TV or on a street corner.
