To my guests

All of my life I have been passionately involved in the world of the arts, primarily as a musician rather than as a visual artist.

Even as a young man, however, I was fascinated by colour, shapes and evocative images.  In my work over the years in business I have become more practiced in the use of graphical media.  

Last year I decided that it was time that I learned how to draw the human form, something I know will engage me for the rest of my artistic life.

These pages include a few examples of this early work.  Hopefully my drawing and portraits will show some signs of improvement as the years go by, but I must confess - I love drawing and it compels me in a way that performance arts never have.
