The Chronicles of Teger
Mark Oakley, who creates the comic book Thieves and Kings, had a
contest. Send him 3 pages of your comic and, if he likes it the best,
he'll publish it in his title. I've never drawn anything like this
before and, in fact, have tended towards the 3-D arts (such as pottery
and clay sculpture). Yet, the offer intrigued me so much that I had
to submit something.
The subject matter I chose was a story that Paul Simmington (a good
friend) and I had written more than a decade ago. It is a story in
which worlds of science and fantasy collide. Mystery and adventure
abound and, we hoped, the reader's interest, too.
Below are the three pages that I submitted to Mark Oakley or M'Oak (as
he signs his work).
