As this year of
rehabilitation work has progressed, we have admitted many orphaned and
injured native species for care. With the kind help of our dedicated
volunteers, veterinary hospitals, and local organizations such as
Disney's Animal Kingdom and Sea World, we have continued to provide the
excellent standards of care for which we are well known. Our loyal
members help to make the endeavor possible with their generosity.
We admitted a record number of orphaned baby otters this year along with raccoons, opossums, song and water birds, raptors, turtles, gray and flying squirrels, bobcat, skunks, and white tail fawns. In the photo below, one baby fawn seems to be kissing the other. And be sure to visit Carol's poems BECOME A MEMBER — Members receive the quarterly newsletter for one year.
