Underrated or forgotten stuff...

This page is dedicated to old TV programs and movies that were really cool, but are pretty much forgotten. I won't make a separate page for each of them because there already are sites out there about them, which I link to from this page. This is just a brief summary, if any of these things catch your eye, there's a more in depth look at them through the links (if I was able to find any... Like I said, they're pretty much forgotten ).

Do not be fooled: yes, this film is animated, but in a million years I wouldn't categorize it as a children's movie. It's a phenomenal movie comprising an all-star cast, enchanting visual effects and haunting music. I first saw it when I was seven, but seeing it again last year made me realize how little I had understood at first. Even now, I feel I've only skimmed the surface of this mystifying tale. See it, be part of the magic: you'll feel it even before the story begins, when the first melancholic notes of the theme song cry out to you, when the last moon is cast and the last eagle flies...

IMHO, 90's cartoons are terrible. The action is more violent, the humor is more sarcastic and the characters are loathsome. I miss the cartoons I grew up with, and most of all, Jem and The Holograms. It still baffles me how they came up with all those great, catchy songs for the show. Instead of showing reruns of shows like The Monkees, TV stations should bring JEM Back!!!

Doesn't ANYBODY remember this awesome show? The music in it was fantastic! It also starred some people who have gone on to big things, such as Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mario Lopez. I'd love to be able to watch some reruns of this show...

Hehehehe... "Anybody who is anybody will soon walk through that door.. At Fat Sam's Grand Slam.. Speak Easy!" This movie KICKS ASS. Anyone who remembers it will agree. It's a well-crafted spoof of Gangster movies, starring a bunch of teenage kids, including a very young and sultry Jodie Foster. The music is incredible and as soon as I figure out how to make wav. files I'll make one out of a song from this movie. I've ordered it from a manufacturer cuz unfortunately it's unavailable in video stores here in Canada now. I couldn't find any webpages on it, but there's always information at the Internet Movie Database, and you'll find a link to that on my "links" page.

Wow! This program was fantastic! A lot of you might not remember it simply because it was only on the air for two years, but this television gem is unforgettable to me. The music was great, lots of awesome oldies, and so was the acting. I miss the actors too, and I haven't seen any of them besides Tisha Campbell since. If anyone has something to say about this show, let me know! Long live Rags to Riches!!!
