The purpose of Indonesian Sugar Research Institute (ISRI) is to advance Indonesian sugar industry competitiveness.

ISRI, as the principal provider of research, development and extension, is commited to increasing productivity, profitability and sustainability of the sugar industry and the transfer of technology to both sugarcane farmers and sugar mill.

ISRI will be at the forefront in identifying and satisfying the needs of its stakeholders.
