Worried that you can't find a frog sitter? No problem! Here's some simple tips to keep your herp alive and healthy while your away:

A. Hold off on feeding herp for a day or two before you leave. You don't want him to be sitting in his own waste for a week. Your herp won't starve. If you plan to be gone longer than a week and can't stand the thought of holding off food that long, throw in 2-3 crickets right before you leave.

B. Give your frog plenty of water. Add another water dish to the vivarium, you don't want him to dehydrate.

C. Be careful of the heat lamps. (I personally don't ever use one). Make sure it's not near water source (less evaporation, and frog can cool down in water). Try to give him more shaded areas.

D. Don't worry! Have a good trip. I have gone on trips for days and followed these steps and my herps didn't know the difference........(except maybe they finally got some piece and quiet! = )
