The firm, founded in 1930 by the Bortolin family, has always believed in quality first and foremost and by exploiting its favourable position, near the centre of the narrow zone of production of the Superior Prosecco Cartizze, it has always been able to produce some of Italy’s finest wine.

In 1980, brothers Gianfranco and Carlo Bortolin brought new technical and commercial methods to the deep rooted family wine making traditions and were able to produce more wine without compromising the age old quality. Following the harvest of the Prosecco grapes, a period of pressing and fermentation follows in the modern wine cellar and in due course the following selection of fine wines are produced and bottled.
