Background Removal and Replacement

Quite often a good photo is marred by an unsuitable or busy background. Removing the unsuitable background and replacing with a more suitable setting can result in more focus on the main subject of the photo.

Adding a Person or People to a Group Photo

Group photos often have a signigficant person who was unable to be there when the pohoto was taken. All I need is another photo of the person and I can add them to the group in as natural way as possible dependent on the photo supplied. It is more often than not possible to also attire them in suitable clothing.

Sky Replacement

Some really good photos of scenes can be ruined by an over or under exposed sky. In old photos the sky seems to be the area that deteriorates first. By removing the sky and replacing with a more suitable sky scene the photo can take on a new look.

One or More Photos Combined into a Montage

A more intensive treatment of adding a person to a photo is where there are two or more photos that a client may wish all the people in the photos to be together in one photo. Families are a good example of this. It is difficult to get all family members together at once for a group photo. If you can supply me with photos of all the family members I will endevour to place them into a pleasing group composition.

Military

As time passes and family members or friends who have served their country in one of the armed forces pass on. It is important to record their military photographs. Sometimes by adding a caption to explain the photo, or just removing others present so that the family member can be represented in a meaningful way for younger generations to appreciate what past wars and their own family members have contributed.
