No Other Software Needed!
MS Windows comes with a program called
Terminal wich is good to transfer your favorite program without having to use
other programs such as Kermit.
Basically, you will follow these simple steps:
1. First you will need to download this file to your Windows directory hp48.htm
1a. Alternatively, you may download this hp48trm.zip and extract to your windows directory...
2. Rename to HP48.trm.(skip if you use step 1a)
3. Open Terminal either by double click the icon in accessory or select START->Run and type terminal in the field and click on OK. Windows 3.1 user use File->Run
and type terminal
4. Goto the Terminal windows,select File, Open and select the file called hp48.trm.
5. Goto the Setting on the menu bar and select Communication. Select the proper transfer speed then the com
port that is connected to the HP48.
6a. To upload a file, simply goto Transfer and Select Send Binary
File then pick the file from your computer directory and press ok.
6b. To download a file simply select Receive Binary File from Transfer menu then specify a file name to be saved to your computer system.
7. Repeat 6a or 5b as needed.
