Jan 5-6, 2002  RTTY RU Multioperator AC4PY, AD4JJ, KE4ISW, WT4KY   We had a lot of fun with this digital mode and made 502 contacts across the country, Canada and DX.  RTTY "try it, you'll like it!"

October 24, 2001 Annual emergency exercise RACES event in conjunction with the Madison County Emergency Operations Center, CECEP, and FEMA.  All available HAMS are requested to participate in this important event.

October 6, 2001 Special Event  kick off for the Presidential Counties Award offered by our club for individuals that have worked a prescribed number of counties with names of US Presidents.  See QST October issue for details.  

September 9, 2001 family picnic at Million Park 12:00 p.m. with lunch about 1:00 p.m.  This event is open to all local amateur radio operators with a special invitation to those that participated in the joint effort "Hams Having Fun in KY" under the call AA4NJ better known as our local Field Day group from EARS and WTARC (Richmond and Berea Clubs).

Field Day 2001 This year's event was held on the Eastern Kentucky University Campus courtesy of Model School.  Operators from Madison and Rockcastle Counties were present from EARS and WTARC as in the previous years.  Again this year working under the call AA4NJ, "Hams Having Fun in KY."

Special Event for Boy Scouts was held at Lake Reba October 2000.  Members of the local club demonstrated for the public our hobby with local Boy Scout guest operators.
