There are a lot of similarities and many differences between the Webtv Plus unit (the enhanced Webtv unit) and the Classic Webtv unit (the basic Webtv unit).
One of my favorite features about the Webtv units in general (because I travel a lot) is that you can take them anywhere in North America and, "at no extra charge", connect the Webtv unit to any regular TV set and any regular telephone line and you'll have the same Internet access as you would at home.
Your Webtv Unit will automatically dial up to the closest Webtv ISP (Internet Service Provider). You can't do that with a computer and this option's not available on the satellite dish/Webtv Plus combo.
