ANIMATED GIFS MADE EASY! To make a simple animation like this all you have to do is find or draw a series of frames and find a program to compile them. Besides the technical aspects of bandwidth (making your animations small so they will load quickly) Gif animation is by far the easiest of all animations to create. Here I downloaded Alchemy Mindworks Gif Construction Set and used their Animation Wizard to create the simple star flashing above,With only four frames of bitmaps drawn in 2 colors in a paint program. You can even scale the size of the bitmaps by selecting transition and veiwing the animation before actually saving to gif format. It took just a few simple steps!
