TOUGH!
I bought my Doom CD's at a software and electronics store for $10 (on sale). It came with 3 CD's, with a total of over 1850 WAD files (plus the WADs making up the 68 original Doom and Doom II levels). Many have multiple maps in them, so I have probably well over 3000 Doom levels, along with the master software for both DOS and Windows, for a measly $10. A small price to pay to avoid software piracy charges
The Courthouse

Notice: this wad file MAY NOT be modified or used as a base for other peoples' wads. Wait until I'm finished with it and post the final version here, then I might release it for everybody's use.(Title not definite) My first Doom level, but only about a quarter to a third of the way done. I'm calling this sample "The Courthouse" because...well, play the level and you'll see. It ends with a switch behind the red key door (the only key yet in the level). Playable for all levels (wimp through nightmare), but not for multi-player; includes some secrets. Created mostly with "Wad Author", a windows-based Doom and Heretic level editor. No new graphics or sound (haven't figured that out yet!). Replaces Level 1 of Doom II. I've added some lighting and special effects here and there that I thought were neat. BTW, in ultra violence/nightmare modes, I must say it is TOUGH, but it is not impossible.
