Nutrition Consultation Program

The Body Gem test is always performed first to determine your RMR

During personal training sessions, beside dynamic workouts one-on-one nutrition counseling will be provided.  Your progress will be reviewed by analyzing food consumption and tracking your exercises.  We will then make adjustments to the exercise regimen and meal plans when necessary.     


Create a Body-for-Life Meal  
Suggestions for your choice of Body-for-life Meal:
  • Protein - choose a lean portion of protein: Chicken Breast, Ground Turkey, salmon, Steak
  • Carbohydrates - choose a portion of complex carbohydrates: sweet potato, oatmeal, brown rice, wheat tortilla, whole wheat bread, fruits
  • Vegetables - add a portion of vegetable to at least 2 meals a day: broccoli, lettuce, green beans, carrots, spinach
  • Essential Fats: avocado, sunflower seeds, almond, cold water fish, flax-seed oil, olive oil, natural peanut butter
  • Water - Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day
  • Snack - apple, almond, or yogurt
  • Essential Mineral - Take one Multi-vitamin a day

    Can I break up my evening meal into smaller meals? Yes.  You can split up the meal into two mini-meals.  Just be sure to have smaller balanced meals.  Also, continue to eat every 2-3 hours.  If you skip this meal, you will eventually end up getting hungry when you're asleep and your metabolism will dip to conserve energy.  This of course is counter-productive to losing weight.

    I don't have time to prepare 5 meals a day.  How can possibly stick to this meal plan?
    This is where planning ahead is very helpful, almost critical to your success.  One idea is to prepare meals for the entire week on Sunday and have enough cut up veggies and fruit on hand for quick and easy snacks.  If this doesn't work, consider the Meal Supplement and balanced snacking products.
