PA-2007 with K6-2 266 o/c 300MHz @ 2.2V

Alexander Marx send me these benchmarks.  He has a PA-2007 running rock solid with beta BIOS 113cd135 running the K6-2 266 overclocked to 300MHz at 2.2V.

    My System:
    FIC PA-2007 rev 1.2
Beta Bios 113cd135 cpu is identified as K6-2
    128mb (2x64) SDRAM (Hyundai)
rem: I use fastest possible timings and 4-bank interleave
    Standard Heatsink and Fan
    cpu used is amd k6-2 266 2.2v

    at 640x480: 28fps
    at 512x384: 28fps
*The results are not that much higher,  but gameplay is much smoother than on a
Intel 233mmx that i had tested in the board for a few days.

PA-2007 with K6-2 300 o/c 333MHz @ 2.1V

Jens Carl has sent more benchmarks.  He has a PA-2007 with release BIOS 113cd13 running the K6-2 300 and this time, overclocked to 333MHz at 2.1V.
My system runs fine at 333MHz with 2,1V.  Here are some more results.

    My System:
    FIC PA2007 Rev.1.2
    Bios 113CD13
    10ns 64 Mb SDRAM
    Elsa Victory Erazor video card
    Symbios Logic 8150S SCSI Controller
    IBM DCAS 34330U
    Teac CD-516S
    MOD Fujitsu 2513A2
    Soundblaster AWE64 Value
    Elsa Microlink 28.8 TQV modem

    Wintune 98 (offline test)
    Clockrate        300                    333MHz
    Dhrystone       780                    861mips
    Whetstone      348                    387mflops
    overall mem    490                    535mb/s
    read mem       582                    631mb/s
    write mem      583                    638mb/s
    copy mem      305                    336mb/s

    Winbench98:
    Clock rate        300                    333MHz
    CPUmark32     626                    648
    FPUmark         972                    1070

But I have also some bad news. It looks like there is a problem with Win98 and the PA 2007. I couldn't get it to work until I put my video card in PCI-Slot 1 or 2. With Win95 I had no problems with Slot 3. There are some more reports of this bug with the FIC 503+. Maybe it's a general bug with all VIA chipsets.

Jens Carl who against all odds has a PA-2007 with release BIOS 113cd13 running the K6-2 300 at 2.1V.
Today I bought a K6/2-300 and it runs fine with Bios 113CD13 at 2,1V.
I don't have this rebooting problem.
