PURPOSE:
To inform unit commander's of changes to the Ranger
Course packing list published in SH 21-75, the Ranger
Course Pamphlet, May 94.
The following are updated
packing lists for the Ranger Course. The packing list has
been revised to delete the summer packing list completely
because this caused students an additional financial
burden for the classes transitioning from summer to
winter and winter to summer. Students had to buy, draw,
and turn in equipment while enrolled in the Ranger
Course. The option for students to bring vitamins has
been deleted on the advice of medical experts as
unnecessary. The A-ration and MRE's the students consume
during the course have sufficient nutrient content to
sustain Ranger students.

the BDU trouser
