My Interests
Most of my interests border line with either what I do regularly or what I crave for. Generally speaking, I love reading books. They are all though of wide variety , specifically I read sci-fi novels. I am also very choosy about my authors in this field of interest. So far, I have mostly I have read sci-fi novels written Issac Asimov and Carl Sagan. I am a great fan of Asimov. My other interests in books are general fiction. I read books written by
Sydney sheldon, Jeffrey archer, John grisham and possibly others.
The favorite books in my rack are "Catch-22" and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenence"
If you have not read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle maintenence", please be careful when you are reading. Atleast for me, it took me on a big philosophical ride and I took quite few months to recover from it! (But definitely every mile of that ride, was worth riding!)
Well well, in the cooler side of my intersts I listen to music . Generally when I turn on my car stereo, by defaul I listen to soft Rock.One of my close friend (Shankar) keeps me updated with the harder part of the rock. He is a big fan of Hard Rock. Any way , couple of groups which fall into "My Favorite Band" category are
* Backstreet boys
* Queen
* Dire Straits
* Ace of base
....and much more other legendary groups/singers like Beatles , Bryan Adams,
I personally play very few sports. I love cricket and I can a play a bit myself. Otherwise I play chess on my computer and other computer games. My latest favorite has been "Flight Simulator "
My recent hobby in winer is Skiing. This season I want to start skiing Cross country. There are quite a few ski resorts I like in california. I think my favorite Ski Resort is Mount Shasta Board and Ski Park
Its quite nice , less crowded and its got real long slopes. The other ones near lake tahoe which are nice are Borreal Ski Lodge, Alpine and Kirkwood.

After I came to US , one of favorite time pass show on Tv is "Drew Carey show". I like "Simpsons" and "Seinfeld" also. I watch 'em whenever I get a chance.
I also watch a lot of movies. Amongst the latest ones, "Enemy of the state " is a great movie I think. "Shakespere in Love" is another cool movie to watch.
