Project involved survey and documentation of existing facilities, design of entire outside cable plant, inside premise wiring and distribution rooms. Scope of work included fiber optic backbone between buildings and between distribution rooms, a forward and reverse coaxial video trunk and a coaxial security trunk between all buildings. Assisted in the development of the basic telecommunications scheme and the final presentation used for the bidding contest of the Pittsburgh Convention Center. Project involved the design of the entire technology infrastructure including voice, data, video, and security. Designed telecommunications network for Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Building in Highspire, PA. Project included data/phone network cabling, CATV system, radio antennae, microwave communications link, communications center, data center and equipment room. Assisted in the preparation of a parallel cost estimate for the design of the telecommunications network infrastructure for University of Pittsburgh Convocation Center.
