For those of you who have an e-mail account, remember when you first got e-mail? It was just the coolest thing, and you got funny jokes and interesting digital tidbits from people and places all over the globe. Then, after you'd had your e-mail account for awhile perhaps all of this once-fun glut of less than useful slowed down (or perhaps not). But it never quite stopped. Then you started receiving certain e-mails for the second time -- even third and fourth times!! Now this e-mail thing doesn't seem like so much fun any more, because your Inbox is constantly filled with junky e-mail and it is diffucult to track down the important stuff!Well, The E-Mail Archive is here to end all that! The E-Mail Archive is a space on the web where all of those jokes and lists and cookie recipes can be stored in one locale, so they never have to be e-mailed again! It is a place where all can read some of the funniest things going around the Internet without having them forwarded to them and clogging their Inboxes! Never again will people needlessly wade through their e-mail and spend precious hours (and dollars) reading their e-mail!!
Okay, this is obviously very optimistic; after all, we are all human and we tend to be dazzled by shiney things and blinking lights and pressing buttons and sending e-mail. Yet this site still hopes to make a dent in all that wasted bandwidth. I heard once that approximately 80% of all e-mails sent were jokes and "top 10" type lists instead of business or personal e-mail! Wild, huh?

If you received something funny or interesting via e-mail and want to spread it around, don't waste bandwidth by sending it to 40 of your close personal friends who will send it to 40 of their close personal friends and so on. Just post it to The E-Mail Archive, and everyone can see it!Whatever it is that you would like to pass along and move out of that Inbox of yours, please forward it to earchive@rocketmail.com. It will be put into the archive in the next few days. The E-Mail Archive will be updated at least once a week.
