Have you ever wanted to goto the moon or take a vacation to mars?

The International Space Station may someday make that possible.  When

 it's completed in the year 2004, the International Space Station (ISS) 

will be orbiting research lab that will test how humans are affected by 

living in space.  "The ISS is the step before going to mars the moon and 

turning them into Earth-like planets,"astronaut Jim Newman said.



   This giant lab in the  sky will be built in space-piece by piece-

over a period of six years. U.S. space shuttles and Russian boosters

will launch the piece into space for a totalof 45 launches. imagine

building s Lego sculpture floating in the sky-exept each Lego piece

is the size of a moble home!!
