Let me introduce myself:
I'm Carlos Esteban Córdoba González, born in 1967, in Medellín, the most beautiful city of (Colombia). I'm a Civil Engineer, I spend my free time with my girlfriend and the rest of it programming and doing anything in the computer, I like to program in Turbo Pascal and to listen the '80s heavy metal
This pages are simply to show some of the things that I like, the elementary (DOS) computer programming and some of my programs, and the slide puzzle, game of 15, taquin, 4x4 puzzle or Rompe Cráneos, as I call it.
You'll find here:
Rompe Cráneos (Skull Breaker)rc100.zip (70 kb) is a version of the classic game invented by Sam
Lloyd in the '70s (1870), best known as Puzzle, Game of Taquin or Game of 15. The Tipical game consists in a squared case, of wood or of metal, with little depth, that contains 15 small square blocks numbered from 1 to 15. In reality there is place for 16 blocks, so that, having only 15, the same can be moved and their positions exchanged. The idea of the game is to organize the blocks so that the numbers remain in order in their original position.
The number of possible positions is n! ÷ 2, where n is the number of vertical tiles by the number of horizontal tiles; so, in a case of 2x2 there are 12 possible positions, while in the tipical 4x4 there are just 10"461.394'944.000 possible positions. The present game allows to organize not only checkerboards with the 1 to the 15 numbers, but also graphics from 2x2 to 25x25 or numbers from 2x2 to 23x14.
The only thing you need is download rc100.zip (70 kb) ,the file, unzip it on directory and enjoy scrambling and sorting gifs, bmps, numbers and colored lines
I also have versions of this game, some work well, others don't, some for graphics, other for text mode and other for windows. In the future I'll probably put the best of them on this page.
Now I'm working on changing my version:
