Dr. George Oliver Nad was created in my mind about 15 years ago when a musician friend and I were trying to come up with a new name for a garage band. Originally we were Dr. White and the Shadows, then we figured the Nad's was more appropriate. Screaming fan's would of course shout "Go Nad's". At the time we thought it was funny I guess. Hell, I still think it's funny, that's why I use Dr. G.O.Nad as my cyber name.
I have degrees in math and music but none of them is a Ph.D, so the Dr. part is bull too.

Anyway, my real name is Jeff and I live in Appleton WI. I've lived in many different places over the years, all of which are in Wisconsin or northern Illinois. (Milwaukee, Madison, Baraboo, Washburn, Waukegan etc. for those of you who know the general area)

I taught music some years ago and now I teach math at Hilbert High School just outside of Appleton. (I also write Hilbert's Web Page)

My hobbies include the Internet, tennis, and weight-lifting. I like to think that I'm good at each, but I spend most of my time with my family. (Linda, Katie, Abby, Megan and Kirsten)
