The Human Habitat

All people living in the Earth 2010 biosphere enjoy the privilege of living in the luxurious yet environmentally friendly residence center.  This building can house 200 people comfortably, although it can support slightly over 400 people.  Granaries and large freezers below the basement region can hold up to two years of harvest, in cases of poor agricultural years.  In order to power this complex structure, solar panels cover all upper-level external areas.  The state-of-the-art subterranean lithium-ion batteries can provide continuous power-output for the freezer systems, the lung systems, the advanced agricultural and irrigation systems, and the emergency climate-control systems in times of need.  Organic waste is dehydrated and treated for use as fertilizer in the agricultural fields.  In the case of unforeseen organic waste, the wetlands, which have a natural capacity to denude toxins, will be used a temporary deposit site.

The diet of the inhabitants will consist of fish from the lake and various vegetables and fruits grown in the agricultural zone.  More information is available in the logistics section.
