The JSH Information Clearinghouse

Hello and Welcome to the only web page determined to keep up with Jeffrey Scott Holland and report on his activities, no matter how silly. If you have any news pertaining to JSH or related matters, please write us at sjodum@hotmail.com.

The latest news is that the Kentuckians, JSH's new band, is recording their debut at Otto Helmuth's Blueberry Way Studio in early May. Look for the CD on Creeps to follow shortly thereafter! The tracks slated to be recorded are new JSH compositions, including "Contempt of Court" and "Lee Harvey Oswald" (both of which appear in acoustic demo form on the new JSH This Ain't No Rave album, and many all-new songs such as "One-Dimensional Woman", "The Girl from Disputanta", and "Gone Fishing". Covers of the Rolling Stones' "Yesterday's Papers" and The Clash's "Cheapskates" are also on the set list.

Holland's label, Creeps Records, has just released 33 compact discs all at once, mostly back-catalog items, but also including a repacking of Countdown To Stupidity material as Kentucky Caveman; a CD of live material and demos from the The Industry Standards; a live Formula LX-321 retrospective; and a brand new JSH album called This Ain't No Rave! These discs are just now out, yet JSH is already working on a new spoken-word CD called Ernest Tubb Is Dead, and a rumored album of swing-jazz.

A new chapbook of poetry, "The Rules Do Not Apply To Me", is due in May from Creeps Press, and JSH is still shopping for a publisher for his novel, 714. A second novel, One Minute Past Eternity, is said to be near completion.
