You'll Never Walk Alone

Love Lights

It takes just one candle to light the darkest night,
just one little taper to turn darkness into light.
It takes one tiny spark to set a flame aglowing,
just a wee flicker to keep the brightness flowing.
As long as a flame flickers, there is some light,
a reason to keep going forth in the darkest night.

One little lantern in the darkest night
can wipe away another's fears and fright.
One little candle in the darkest room
can help remove all the doom and gloom.
Just one match with a tiny, wee spark
can light up a place that seems so dark.

It takes just one breeze to blow that candle out,
just one tiny whisper, not even a loud shout.
It takes just a drop of water to put out the light,
and turn everything to blackness in one's sight.
Guard that torch of hope, and pass it on its way.
Give that light to others as you go along the way.

A word of love placed in another's ear
can help alleviate their greatest fear.
Just one joke shared, when another's down,
can put a smile where there is a frown.
Just one smile placed upon your face
can help bring hope to another's place.

One word of kindness can light another's way.
One word of criticism can push them far away.
Give him the torch of love he may need tonight,
a little bit of hope to show him a new light.
A different point of view may bring him hope,
so he can find the path and doesn't have grope.

So ignite your candle from deep inside
and let your light show on the outside.
Put a spark of hope in another one's day
by sending a little smile over his way.
Light one's candle by sharing your flame
and it will return from wence it came.

It doesn't take a genius to pass along the light.
Just a caring heart may bring a smile so bright.
When words fail, and you're not sure what to say,
Just pass along a hug; it goes a long, long way.
If you give that light to another who's in the dark,
some day it'll return and rekindle your own spark.

Peace, and keep those  lights glowing;
you never know when someone may need
your light to find their way home!
