My name is Rebecca and I live in a small town in Canada. I am 54 years old, with a daughter and son who are now grown. Next to God, they have been the greatest source of blessing in my life. My mom (Victoria) also lives with me since my dad passed away. She is the most awesome mother that anyone could ever have. Her love for her family is shown in all that she does. My family has now been increased by my daugher's husband Tim and my new grandbaby, Raylene, who is a gift right from the throne of God.
I have been a born again Christian for 34 years in which I have come to know the power of God and His tremendous love for His children. In that time I have learned that I can trust God with every area of my life. Many times I have had to live by what I know as to what I feel. It is the knowledge that I have of who God is and the trust that I have in His ability to be God in every situation that may come my way that has seen me through many rough times in my life.
I have been writing poetry for many years .
I have a book of poetry printeded. I have also written 9 years of daily devotionals and a fictional novel based on the lives of a young Pastor and his wife and their ministry with the youth.
I have proven over the years that God can meet any need, and will make a difference in the lives of those who trust Him. I have also proven that in the midst of a seemingly uncaring world, there is a God in Heaven that loves and cares about each of us, and there are still people on this planet we call earth that really care, and are not only out for what they can get for themselves. I am so glad to be a part of God's great family of believers and to know that I have so many brothers and sisters all over the world.
During the past few years God has allowed me the awesome priviledge of ministering on the internet. I have met people from all over the world and all walks of life. One thing I have noticed about all I have met and that is that all people have the same basic need and that is the need to know that they are loved by someone. That gives me the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. After all, who can love you like Jesus can?
Maybe as you read this you may be thinking that no one cares about you. Jesus cares and loves you very much. He died so that you might have eternal life. If you don't know Jesus then I urge you to get to know Him. You can invite Him into your life right now. Just bow your head and say...Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner. I confess my sins to you today. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and change my life. In Jesus name I ask this. Amen. Do You Know How Much Jesus Loves You? So Much That He Was Willing To Die On A Cross. He gave His All That You Might Be Reconciled With The Father. What Will You Give Him Today? Will You Invite Him Into Your Heart And Live For Him The Rest Of Your Days? He Is Standing By Right Now, What Is Your Answer?
This life that we live for a short while on this earth is not something to be played around with. It is a serious thing. We each have an eternal soul that will live forever. The question is where? The choice is ours. We can choose Jesus and spend eternity with Him. Or we can choose the way of Satan, and spend eternity in hell. The better choice seems obvious to me, but still we see so many denying Jesus and following Satan, the one who hates their soul and wants nothing more than to drag them down to hell, into a lost eternity. I would implore you today to choose life. Jesus loves you and His desire is that you too would be part of His family.
